The show will feature humans modeling fashions from New York & Co and adoptable homeless animals adorned with high fashion collars and leashes. Music by Melanie Wright Hors d'oeuvres. From: Apr 10, 2010 To: Apr 10, 2010 The Meadows Conference Center at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino The auction is the ARL's largest fundraiser of the year and one you don't want to miss! The event will feature a silent auction from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a live auction from 7 to 10 p.m. Over 350 items will be auctioned, including sports memorabilia, artwork, jewelry, dinner and entertainment packages, dog and cat specialty items, and services for you or your home. All proceeds from the auction will go to supporting the homeless pets at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. What could be better than a night of shopping, all while benefitting the animals?!? |

Pet Handling Speaker: Sage Lewis at the ARL From: May 15, 2010 To: May 16, 2010 ARL Main's Dog Training Center, Sat. 6:30-7:30 p.m On Sunday, May 16th, Sage will two teach a hands-on seminars at the ARL Main's Dog Training Center. Class size is limited, so register early. The first session will be Intro to Tellington TTouch for Dogs (9 a.m.-Noon) and the second session will be Intermediate Tellington TTouch for Dogs (1-4 p.m.) Dogs are welcome. Fee for each class is $75, or take both, and the fee is only $140. You must have completed any Intro to TTouch class to take only the Intermediate class. As a special bonus on Saturday, May 15th, you can schedule a private session with Sage regarding Tellington TTouch, Animal Communication and/or Life Coaching. These sessions are available from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday at the ARL Main shelter. Cost is $60 for a 30 minute session, or $125 for a 60 minute consultation.
