"We had been fortunate to have a high school or college student look out for Shepherd/Labrador mix in the past during our various trips. In preparing for our most recent trip we found ourselves at a loss of what to do because we no longer knew students nearby. Chewy had never been in a kennel and at 13 years of age we didn't know how he would handle being confined. We contacted Fetch!. When the representative came for the meeting with our dog and to gather information we were pleasantly surprised at the extent of the services they offered. Our dog was very much at ease with the Fetch! representative. Additionally, Fetch! offered to bring in our mail and newspapers if needed as well as water plants,open/close blinds and turn lights on/off to make the house appear as though we were here.
When we returned from our 8 day trip we found a "report card" to let us know how Chewy had done. He seemed glad to have his family back home but missed the consistent regular walks the Fetch! representative had given him. He let us know we needed to be more atuned to what he wanted (even if we didn't feel like going for a walk).
