The Franchise Process

We know that starting a new pet business is a wonderful and, at times, stressful journey. That's why we at Fetch! Pet Care have tried to make it as easy as possible. We can move as quickly or as slowly as you need in order to make your dreams of owning a Fetch! franchise come true. We have added typical timeframes to our steps to give you an idea of a fast track sale.

Step 1: Complete our online application

 First we'd like to learn more about you. A franchise relationship is a very special partnership and the rights to operate under the Fetch! Pet Care brand are for a considerable time frame. So, it's important that both parties are confident in each other's ability and commitment to making the business grow and prosper. Even if you see your area already taken, please submit a form anyway as new franchise opportunities are always opening up.

Timeframe: 10 minutes

Step 2: Watch our online informational video.

 This will give you a better understanding of the Fetch! Pet Care model. You'll be able to see Fetch! Pet Care in action and get some of your initial questions answered.

Timeframe: 45 minutes

Step 3: Review our Franchise Packet and FAQs.

To give you a more detailed understanding of how your Fetch! Pet Care franchise would operate and what's required of you, we'll forward you our Franchise Disclosure Document, a sample Franchise Agreement and access to commonly asked questions.

Timeframe: 5-7 days

Step 4: Define franchise territory.

Our franchise sales team will work with you to define your protected territory. Our Protected Territory system ensures cooperation among all Fetch! Pet Care franchise owners. A single territory is defined as 50,000 households and costs $13,000 - among the lowest cost in the pet industry. A detailed demographic market study is completed on a proposed new territory to determine the best territory possible, and the results are shared with you.

Timeframe: 1 hour

Step 5: Return Franchise Agreement and Payment.

To finalize the paperwork portion of our relationship, we have you return your customized Franchise Agreement along with your payment. This will hold your spot in our next training class and help establish your opening date. That's right, it's tail waggin' time.

Timeframe: 1 hour

Step 6: Attend Franchise training in California.

Your Fetch! Pet Care franchise fee includes the pet care industry's most comprehensive training curriculum. An all-encompassing, four-day on-site and two day tele-training program is followed by in-depth interaction with the Fetch! Pet Care franchise operations team to get your business launched and running successfully.

Step 7: Open your Fetch! Pet Care Business

Time to start working with the one's you love – the pets. Our support team stands paw to paw with you to get your pet business up and running. No one in the pet care industry offers the variety and scope of ongoing assistance and support you receive from Fetch! Pet Care. As a Fetch! Pet Care franchise owner, you have the opportunity to learn and share through weekly strategy sessions with company management, attend weekly web conference franchise roundtable sessions, receive monthly franchise newsletters, share experiences and ideas with other franchisees in our online franchisee discussion group, access timely information and updated documents through our private franchisee intranet and knowledge base, and gain daily support from our professional operations team who are available by phone, email, and web-based teleconferencing.
