The APS of Durham is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and providing shelter for all animals. Our mission is to educate the public about the humane care and treatment of animals, promote spay/neuter and encourage the adoption of homeless animals.
Independent Animal Rescue Our mission is to rescue and provide safe and responsible care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. We shall strive to help all animals in need through our service programs. We will serve our communities through promotion of spay or neuter for all companion animals.
Paws4Ever APS of Orange County is dedicated to sheltering and finding great homes for pets. They offer dog training and have an adoption center at the beautiful animal sanctuary. They also have a vet clinic next door on Nicks Rd. with low cost spayneuter services.
The Coalition to Unchain Dogs The Coalition to Unchain Dogs is a non-profit, volunteer effort dedicated to improving the welfare of dogs living outdoors on chains in and around Durham, North Carolina. In the last year, we freed over 75 dogs from their chains, but many more are still waiting.
