"I love the personalized care that is provided. This is the first time since I have moved to the Des Moines area that I have had a pet sitter stay overnight with my dog and I could really tell the difference when I got home from my trip. Usually when I leave her with sitters who do not stay overnight or when she has been placed in a kennel, she looks as though she has had a very stressful weekend and she instantly curls up next to me and sleeps all evening. This time it was clear that she had enjoyed her time with the pet sitter and was just as normal as any other day when I get home from work. I love my dogs and I am SO protective of them! And Jen and the owners are so wonderful. They really do care, and they are so good with the dogs. They leave me notes everyday telling me what is going on, if they see anything out of the ordinary with them - they let me know right away. "We have 2 cats, Max and Tess and 1 dog, Daisy. Previously we had boarded our animals at a local veterinarian when we would leave on trips. While 2 of my animals are ok with this, one of my cats, Max, is very sensitive to strangers and thus, it was becoming increasingly difficult to board her. I found out about Fetch Pet Care through a bulletin board at my employer and that they will come to my home to care for my animals, thus eliminating the need to put Max in a situation that she had become increasingly stressed over. I began utilizing the service, with Faith as the caregiver, a little over a year ago and it has worked wonderfully. I explained Max's temperament and had Faith come over to "meet" her first before we left on a trip. Max is still leery of strangers, but one of the last visits Faith did, Max actually rubbed up against her! A good sign! This has also been good for Tess and Daisy as I know they prefer their own home as opposed to being boarded.
