Reviews

LOVE FETCH. I've had two sitters from here for my cat. (I moved and had to be reassigned another sitter.) Both are amazing and very professional. This is literally like having a good friend watching your baby while you're away. When I go back home I tend to stay for a week. So it's very nerve wrecking leaving my cat alone for a whole week. I have my sitter come in every day. She cleans and feeds my baby and updates me on anything going on. If you are concerned about leaving your pet or pets alone definitely give fetch a try. Also, the woman Carol? Carolyn? that schedules everything and answers the phone is an absolute delight! Very professional and quick to answer any questions or concerns you may have. She saved my booty around the holidays when no one could take my baby. I've only turned to fetch since then.

We've been using Fetch for several years now after being referred by a friend and it's the best peace of mind we can get! Carolyn always responds quickly and we're always able to secure a sitter when we need it. Every sitter we've used has been professional and respectful of our house. We love the little report cards they leave too. Stephanie F is our main sitter and she is amazing! Our cat adores her and she always leaves nice report cards and takes wonderful care of her. It's a great feeling knowing your pet is in the care of someone that you not only trust, but your pet loves as well. Last year, the unthinkable happened and our flight home from Ireland was canceled, leaving us stranded in Europe for longer than expected. Stephanie came over last minute and took care of our cat while we scrambled to get home, which was a godsend during a scary and stressful time. She really goes above and beyond! I tell everyone I know who loves their pets as much as I do to use Fetch! Best sitters ever!

I used this service for cat pet sitting and my sitter was Jeff. I was very nervous about leaving anyone with my cats. It was a short time frame to hire someone and I was going to be out of town (well, the state) for about a week. Carolyn replied to my inquiries promptly and thoroughly. Jeff was really great about setting up the consultation right away and getting everything sorted. He sent me updates daily which wasn't required and that truly calmed my nerves the most. It was nice to get the daily update even if it was just saying everything is good. He even won over the heart of one of my cats who I was sure would never warm up to anyone else! He went above and beyond and I highly recommend him.

He lives just a short walk from Lake Michigan; full of pet-friendly neighborhoods and parks. He provides private, cage-free boarding in his home, as well as client in-home pet care in Chicago. Private boarding and home care is a very important service, and he goes above and beyond to ensure high-quality care. Mark's time spent on family farms, and his rural upbringing, allowed Mark nearly constant contact and interaction with a wide assortment of animals, pets, and wildlife. A member of his local 4-H in his youth, Mark completed training classes for general animal care and dog training, Competing at county fairs each summer. Acquiring the nickname "Dr. Doolittle" during this time, he was, and still is someone who loves, and is devoted to, his entire, adopted Fetch! animal family.

Martina Brockway

Hi there, I’m Martina! I live in the Albany Park neighborhood. I am very excited to join Fetch! In my youth, my family had a beautiful husky-shepherd mix, and I’ve also experienced the joy of sharing a past life with three rescue cats. I absolutely love getting to know the unique personality every pet has. Once my children came into my life, my hopes of having pets in my house were sadly dashed. This is 100% why caring for your fur-babies will be such a fulfilling opportunity for me. I am a high school Special Education teacher who has a stressful job during the school year. I look at spending quality time with pets as much needed therapy! I am very much looking forward to hanging out with your pet and making them feel very loved! I promise to take extra care, send you updates and pictures, and be a proactive communicator!

Andrea G.

My passion for animals stems way back to my childhood. Growing up I was always surrounded by all types of animals and learned at an early age how much empathy and compassion I had for all living things. I grew up with cats, dogs, birds, turtles, and bunnies! My love for animals only grew stronger as I got older, and I hope to establish a career in animal care. Outside of my love for animals, I am a professional dancer and I teach kids and adults.

Alexandria P.

I was born and raised in the city of Chicago. Chicago gave me my love for animals, but my experience as a dog daycare attendant has brought out my love for pets and my appreciation for them. Becoming a pet parent to my sweet baby Chance has shown me how much of a difference a dog, a cat, or any animal can make in a persons life. I will always provide care and attention to every pet I meet as I know they are basically your children. I am currently in the Avondale area, but enjoy going to others as I have lived in multiple areas growing up. I look forward to meeting your fur-babies!

Katelyn H

Katelyn is a recent transplant to Chicago from the east coast! She grew up with dogs, ranging from tiny yorkies to big rottweilers. She now lives in Ravenswood with her golden doodle Puck. When she’s not hanging out with pets, Katelyn enjoys reading, writing, and going to karaoke.
