Meet Our Owners, Michele & Joe
We are Michele & Joe Zeiler and we have owned and operated Fetch! Pet Care Greater Schaumburg since 2008. Animals have ALWAYS been our passion from the time we were children – much to our parents’ chagrin! From more traditional animals like dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds to the more exotic animals like sugar gliders, North American caiman, cockatoos, macaws, and even very exotic animals like big cats, bears, and alligators. We have very diverse experiences in the animal world. Combined, we have more than 75 years of experience caring for animals. Our family has been heavily involved with Animal Rescue since 2007. We have fostered hundreds of dogs and cats and dealt with everything from raising orphan babies to caring for seriously ill and special needs rescues – including one initially considered hospice care who graced us with her love and daily challenges of pulmonary fibrosis for NINE YEARS!!! We currently foster dogs with Tiny n’ Tall Rescue based in St Charles. Our involvement in animal rescue not only increased our experience exponentially – you never know what is going to happen when you pick up a dog or a cat from transport.
Michele is passionate about bioactive enclosures for our reptiles and amphibians! She creates bioactive homes for them to live in a very natural environment that brings them and us great joy. Michele is also working on her Fear Free Certification to be completed in early 2024.

Today, we look for people who have a passion for animals and the skills needed to care for someone else’s fur-kids. Having a pet and caring for someone else’s are two totally different skill sets. Carole has been working with animals of all types for longer than she cares to admit. All of her four dogs, cat, and even her cockatiel are rescues. She have worked for veterinarians, owned a pet shop, taught obedience and puppy kindergarten classes, fostered for Anderson Humane, and shown dogs in both confirmation and obedience competitions. Her family has owned dogs, cats, birds, a variety of small animals, reptiles and snakes, Her current dogs include a 150 lb. Rottweiler/St. Bernard cross, two mixed breed large dogs (both 'foster failures') and a senior blind Shih Tzu rescued from a nursing home that was about to put him down, stating he was 'an unnecessary expense'. She is not accepting new clients at this time, but loves on every one who is currently under her care.

All of these animals were always considered an important part of her family! They were loved and spoiled the way animals should be!
