Meet Our Owner, Lauren.
Hello, everyone! My name is Lauren and I am the owner of Fetch Pet Care Grand Rapids. I’ve had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember, but it all probably began with my sweet, little kitten, Whiskers. Whiskers entered my life when I was four and stayed with me for 19 years. He was there for every awkward middle school moment, every high school crush, every college exam. He was there for all of the excitement, all of the joy, and all of the pain too. He was my constant companion. And I did everything I could to make sure I gave him the best life possible.
And that’s kind of why I decided to open Fetch Grand Rapids in 2018. Besides wanting desperately to spend everyday meeting and hanging out with new animals, I thought I could help other pet owners give their animals the best lives possible. The Fetch franchise seemed like the perfect solution because they gave me the opportunity to bring a large and experienced company to Grand Rapids, while still being able to do things my way providing personable, local care.
The last two years have been a complete blast as I’ve welcomed two awesome animal-lovers to my team. We’ve met so many incredible people and animals and can’t wait for more. My three tuxedo cats, Sultan, Jasper, and Bernie may get a little jealous when I come home smelling of other animals, but it has been well worth it (and I can usually appease them with a few scratches behind the ear).
I’m excited to see what the next few years hold for Fetch Grand Rapids and hope to have the opportunity to meet you and your pet. I can’t wait to hear your story!
