3.3.2020 - Fetch! Pet Care Sells Its Two Existing Company Owned Locations To New Franchisees

Fetch! Pet Care, America’s largest franchised provider of professional dog walking and pet sitting services, today announced the sale of its two existing company owned and operated locations in Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY.

Fetch! Pet Care franchise owner Tonya Williams is the proud new owner and operator of Fetch! Pet Care servicing Center City Philadelphia.  Williams previously worked for more than 10 years in the pet care industry as a professional dog walker and pet sitter, then as a Pet Care Coordinator in the Client Concierge Center at Fetch! Pet Care, where she ultimately went on to become Manager of the call center.

“Having worked at all levels of the Fetch! Pet Care organization, I have a unique understanding of each role and the importance of a coordinated effort in providing the highest quality dog walking and pet sitting services to pets and their owners”, said Williams.  “I’m thrilled to finally own my own Fetch! Pet Care franchise and expand on our great service here in the greater Philadelphia area”.

Equally exciting, Fetch! Pet Care franchise owner Donyell Denby has just purchased and will be taking over daily operations of the Fetch! Pet Care franchise servicing Manhattan, NY effective April 1st.  Like Tonya Williams, Denby also worked as a Pet Care Coordinator in the Client Concierge Center at Fetch! Pet Care and was revered for his commitment to service excellence for the pets.  Denby is currently focused on adding more professional dog walkers and pet sitters on staff to service the increasing needs of clients throughout New York City.

2.18.2020 - Fetch! Pet Care Announces Atlanta Area Franchise Expansion

Fetch! Pet Care®, America’s largest franchised provider of professional dog walking and pet sitting services, is celebrating the upcoming March 1st grand opening of a new Fetch! Pet Care franchise location.

After splitting her time living between Seattle and Atlanta, and having over 13 years of experience in the pet care industry, Fetch! Pet Care franchise owner Tamara Bean is expanding into the Atlanta area. Her new location will be servicing Decatur to Brookhaven, and all the neighborhoods in-between.

Tamara opened her current location, Fetch! Pet Care of Seattle North, in 2007.  She personally hand-picks, vets, background checks and thoroughly trains each and every dog walker and pet sitter on her staff. Fetch! has one sole focus, and that is to ensure all pets receive the best care possible – each and every time – and it shows! Fetch! Pet Care, America’s largest franchised provider of professional dog walking and pet sitting services, is celebrating the recent expansion of two of its existing franchise locations in East Pittsburgh, PA and Des Moines, IA.

Fetch! Pet Care franchise owners Monique Gillespie and Paulette Flowers, servicing downtown to East Pittsburgh, PA made the decision to expand their territory that serviced Braddock, East Pittsburgh, Monroeville, Murrysville, Oakmont, Pitcairn, Pittsburgh, Turtle Creek, Verona, Downtown, East Liberty, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Southside, Mt. Washington, Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, The Strip, Swissvale, Regent Square, Churchill, and Point Breeze to include Arsenal, Bloomfield, East Liberty, Homewood, Oakmont, Penn Hills, Plum, Shadyside, Verona, and Wilkinsburg.

Fetch! Pet Care franchise owners Lorrie and Eric Culp also celebrated a recent expansion with the purchase of three additional zip codes in the downtown Des Moines, IA area.  The franchise, which currently services Clive, Des Moines, Johnston, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines, Windsor Heights and Pleasant Hills, now also services all of downtown Des Moines.

11.7.2019 - Fetch! Pet Care Selected to Join Military Spouse Employment Partnership

Fetch! Pet Care, America’s largest franchise provider of professional pet sitting and dog walking services, has been selected to join the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). Fetch! Pet Care was one of 42 new MSEP Partners who joined the initiative at the Department of Defense (DoD) New Partner Induction Ceremony and Partner Meeting in Washington, D.C. titled “The Power of Connection,” on Tuesday, October 22.  They plan to formally launch the program within its franchise system on Veterans Day which is Monday, November 11th.

Military spouses have a 24 percent unemployment rate and a 25 percent wage gap compared to their civilian counterparts, according to the Partnership. The inability of spouses to obtain and retain fulfilling employment as they relocate compromises the quality of life of many military families.  MSEP was created by the DoD in 2011 in response to a growing readiness issue and has reached a milestone with more than 400 employers as partners.

Before most people toss the pumpkins off the porch, Sue Reeg and Cora Baker, owners of Fetch! Pet Care in Ewing, are busy booking a hectic holiday season. Amid vacations, parties, late work nights, shopping and cooking, precious pets may get less attention in the holiday hustle.

“Clients and pets can benefit from the numerous services Fetch! offers, from regular walks for the dog to daily visits when you’re away from home,” says Cora Baker. They will also water plants, collect mail, take out trash and rotate blinds and lights as if someone is home. “That’s the Fetch! slogan – We’ve got your tail covered!” Cora affirms.

Fetch! tailors each service to meet your pet’s needs. They will feed your pet, play or walk and love them – whatever the pet wants and needs to keep them happy and healthy. They also tend to necessities, like scooping the litter box, and provide specialty services such as giving medications, including injections.

After each visit, the sitter communicates with the client, providing notes and pictures, through the My Fetch! app. The app includes GPS tracking so everyone knows a service is completed.
