With our pet taxi service, a qualified pet sitter will pick up your pet and bring them wherever they need to go. We’ll send lots of updates accompanied with photos so that you can see exactly how your pet is doing on their little “solo” trip. Your pet will get the care they need and you’ll be able to fully focus on your other responsibilities.
How Our Pet Taxi Works
We match you with an experienced, local pet sitter based on your needs and schedule.
You meet with the sitter virtually or in-person (your choice) to decide if they are right for you.
When your pet needs a ride, you simply schedule the time and your chosen sitter will bring them to their appointment.
Pet Taxi Capabilities
- Pets’ locations are tracked via GPS through our My Fetch! application.
- We can take care of any needed potty breaks prior to and following transport.

Safety Is a Priority
All of our Fetch sitters go through a safety certification program that strictly follows CDC recommendations for their specific region. After completing the program, they must pass a quiz in order to receive our safety certification. We always follow the safety guidelines—not just during the COVID pandemic—to minimize movement within our clients’ homes and to help maintain positive experiences with the pets.

To ensure the safety of your pet we require our pet taxi drivers to have:

- A valid driver’s license

Who’s watching my pet?
After you request a service, one of our pet care coordinators will meet with you to learn about your schedule and needs. They will then choose primary and back-up Fetch sitters that they believe are a good fit for you and your pet/s. You will have the opportunity to meet with the chosen sitters either virtually or in person. If you decide that they are right for you, we will assign them as the primary and back-up sitters on your account. Anytime you request a service, the primary pet sitter will be the one watching your pet. If the primary sitter is unavailable the secondary sitter will take their place.
What does it cost?

How can I be sure my pet is safe
We require all of our drivers to have vehicle insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record for at least the past three years. In addition, we track the location of our drivers via our My Fetch! application to ensure we always know where your pet is located.
How do I pay for the service?
We require debit/credit card payment if you are scheduling a service via our My Fetch! App. Any other accepted payment can be worked out with your specific Fetch location.
How does Fetch determine that someone is qualified to transport my pet?
All of our pet sitters go through a standard background check so that we can ensure they are fit for the job. In addition, we conduct a personality focused interview where we evaluate if a candidate truly has a passion for pets and people. We also make sure your sitter has a clean driving record, proper insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
When will I be charged for service?
You will not be charged until after the service has been completed.
Do you refund cancellations?
Specific cancellation policies vary by location, but if a cancellation occurs within 24-48 hours of the visit you may be charged up to 50% of the service fee. This is done to compensate the sitter for lost time as most visits are scheduled days in advance.
