Frequently Asked Questions
Who’s caring for my puppy?
After you request a service, one of our pet care coordinators will meet with you to learn about your puppy, your schedule, and your overall needs. They will then choose primary and back-up sitters that they believe are a good fit for you and your dog/s. You will have the opportunity to meet with the chosen sitters either virtually or in person. If you decide that they are right for you, we will assign them to your account. Anytime you request a service, the primary sitter will be the one caring for your puppy. If the primary sitter is unavailable, the secondary sitter will take their place.
What does it cost?
Pet sitting costs vary based on location. To get pricing near you, find your closest Fetch location here.
How do I pay for the service?
We require debit/credit card payment if you are scheduling a service via our My Fetch! App. Any other accepted payment can be worked out with your specific Fetch location.
Will my sitter document my pet’s eating and bathroom habits?
Yes, our sitters keep daily journals where they record eating and bathroom habits, exercise activity, and the mood and temperament of your pet.
How does Fetch determine that someone is qualified to watch my puppy?
All of our sitters go through a standard background check so that we can ensure they are fit for the job. We also conduct a personality-focused interview where we evaluate if a candidate truly has a passion for pets and people. We don’t hire anyone who doesn’t love giving animals love at all hours of the day.
When will I be charged for service?
You will not be charged until after the service has been completed.
Do you refund cancellations?
Specific cancellation policies vary by location, but if a cancellation occurs within 24-48 hours of the visit you may be charged up to 50% of the service fee. This is done to compensate the sitter for lost time as most visits are scheduled days in advance.
